For my personal preference, I would recommend the Mac Air M1, Although there are some performance upgrade in mac air m2 it may not be worth for the price for every one and Due to lunch of M2, price of M1 will come down and if money is your problem then go with m1 mac air without hesitation but if you want best you know what to do.
